To help users get the most out of their Alexa devices, Amazon created a series of YouTube videos. To establish Alexa's online presence, a unique audio logo was needed to leave a memorable impression and be closely associated with the device.

APPROACH: Sonic Signatures identified Alexa’s device invocation sound as the most recognized audio cue. By adding new sounds with rich harmonics to the original monophonic tone, a modern sonic identity was established.

RESULTS: Following its introduction as the sound of Alexa on YouTube, Amazon began using the audio logo in live event streaming.
